With more than three decades of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Anne has functioned in numerous roles, including real estate appraiser, review appraiser and commercial real estate broker.
Anne’s extensive industry experience includes:
- Property tax management and appeal solutions
- Portfolio acquisition due diligence for property tax
- Negotiations: appeal resolutions, service contracts, sale and lease transactions
- Counseling: property tax strategy, investments, sales and leases, acquisitions, dispositions
- Valuation and Counseling: manufacturing, industrial, office, retail, medical, senior and multi-family apartments and land
Anne is the past chair of the Georgia chapter of the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE), and MAI (Member of the Appraisal Institute), and she is a member of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women).
Deb Kling, Vice President
Deb has 18 years of professional experience and is a registered agent in Texas and Los Angeles County. Since joining RPTA in 2011, Deb has served the company as the VP of Administration and Operations. She has represented some of RPTA’s highest profile cases in California, Texas and Florida, as well as other states.
Deb is licensed as a Certified General Appraiser and Tax Consultant in many states and is a recognized property tax authority. She also manages RPTA’s litigation and consulting practice. She helps clients select attorneys, appraisers and other expert witnesses.
Todd M. Barron, CMI, MBA, Senior Director, Personal Property
With more than 20 years of experience in property tax matters, Todd has positioned himself as an industry leader and the resident personal property tax expert at RPTA.
Todd has been responsible for numerous consulting and compliance engagements and has testified in several complex property tax matters, with a focus on large industrial facilities and utility properties. He also shares his vast knowledge of commercial property tax through professional speaking engagements, teaching courses at the university level and writing several property tax-related publications.
